I want to share three amazing tips on keeping your sanity as a mom and a wife while not going completely off the rails. These tips help me to stay sane and keep me centered. I love being a mom and a wife, but sometimes it can get hard, and you will have meltdown moments.
Recently I almost had a breakdown. Ok, maybe a mini breakdown, just a little background, I am a mother to two toddlers, and I work full time out of the home. So I work 40 hours a week outside the home, and then I come home to manage our home and run my blog. My husband also works outside the home, so sometimes, things can get a little hectic. It can get hard to manage home and work life, to say the least.

Three tips on staying positive and motivated at work
Find someone to talk to
It would help if you had someone you can talk to. I would start by talking to a friend, a family member, or a counselor. You need to be able to vent your frustration to someone. I am blessed to have a few people I can talk to that are in the same season of life as I am. It is good when you can connect with people that can relate to you and your situation. When you can connect and talk to someone, you don’t feel like you are the only one having rough moments.
Start a hobby/craft
Find a hobby or a craft that helps you focus your energies on something other than being a wife and a mother. As women, we sometimes get lost in that “Mommy” or “Wife” title. We forget that we once had dreams and goals. That’s one reason I started my blog, and I wanted to have something that could help me relieve some stress and help my family.
Get that body moving
Getting some exercise is also a great way to clear your mind and body. When I feel stress coming on, I will go for a walk or a run. So try to get your body moving, join a gym, or do some free exercises on YouTube. If you are close to a park, I would suggest finding a nice trail and moving those feet. You will be amazed at how good you feel after a good workout.
This is a bonus tip, spend some time with God. My faith definitely keeps me from going bonkers. Spend time in prayer and use your bible to keep you centered. I hope you enjoyed the blog today. Let me know all the ways you are keeping yourself calm, cool, and collected.
