Baking is a fun way to spend V-Day with your kids, and you get to show them how special they are. Try getting in the kitchen and bake little heart cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. The possibilities are endless. I’m not the best at baking, but I love the time I spend with my kiddos. We get to be silly and bond.
Watch your favorite movies
Valentine’s Day can also be spent watching your kid’s favorite movies. You get to snuggle and spend quality time together. I must admit I still love a kid-friendly movie.
Make a Valentine’s Day basket
Now you can get really creative with this one. You can put all of your child’s favorite things in it. My daughter really loves anything Minnie mouse or Disney princess. My son loves cars and things that make loud sounds. So I will make sure to come back to this post to show you guys what I came up with, lol.
Make Valentine’s Day cards
You can have a lot of fun with this one. All you need is construction paper, crayons, markers, and glitter. This will get allow your kids to express their creative side and also saves you money.
Buy them something special
This is a special time, so think about something your kiddos have been wanting. Buying a nice gift does not have to be expensive; buy something from the heart you know they will love.
Make their favorite meal
Mac n cheese for the win. No, seriously, my daughter loves instant mac n cheese. Making their favorite meal will make them feel extra special. You can try to cook the meal together.
